Cairn Terriers Pet Insurance News

After being seriously injured in a savage unprovoked attack by a French Bulldog, Fudge, a 12-year-old Cairn terrier was rushed to an emergency vet for treatment.

Fudge’s owner Joanna Williams explained the situation stating that the French Bulldog, which was out of control, grabbed her dog around the neck while under his owner’s watch. Sadly, the bulldog’s owner didn’t even seem to care and just walked off.

Joanna is appealing for the owner and witnesses to come forward. When grabbed by the dog, Fudge had a puncture wound on the back of his neck. He had bad bruising, internal bleeding, and extreme swelling.

Joanna also pointed out that there were witnesses to the attack. She said that the current expense is 450 pounds for pain killers, out of hours vet, anti-inflammatory injection, and antibiotics.

Several animal lovers have shown concern about the unprovoked attack and Joanna has received several messages of support on social media.
