The app is designed to provide instant access to travel medical insurance to Canadians. It features a self-serve and mobile-first solution that makes it easy for Canadian out-of-country travelers to purchase travel medical insurance for as little as $4 within seconds. Moreover, the service is also available up to seven days into your vacation.
Goose currently serves and available in Ontario, British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba, but it is based in Vancouver. Dejan Mirkovic, Founder and CEO of Goose Insurance Services and the Co-Founder and Director of Square One Insurance Services, said that Canadians will buy travel insurance if it is accessible and affordable. This will help them to avoid thousands of dollars in medical bills during travel emergency.
Just like Square One which modernized home insurance solutions for Canadians, Goose intends to modernize travel insurance solutions for Canadians. Mirkovic added that Canadian consumers should be able to access insurance services conveniently and transparently.
