Vacationing by the beach in luxury sounds lovely! Doesn't it?
Many people dream of staying in a coastal-themed, high-class room. In Punta Cana, we were able to watch the sunset while smelling the salty air of the sea.
For many, the only way they can experience this is by going to Live Aqua Beach Resort Punta Cana. It is the perfect vacation spot for those who want to experience the luxury of beach life.
But what is this amazing destination all about? We encourage you to read the sections below if you want to learn more about this resort. Now let's get started.
Consider staying at Live Aqua Beach Resort Punta Cana when planning a vacation. But why? For one, the resort exemplifies the best in the Caribbean. You'll discover miles of beaches covered in white sand and crystal clear waters.
We enjoyed diving and snorkeling over the 18-mile coral reef in the shallow waters. Afterward, we enjoyed a full-course meal with local flavors.
The rooms are beautifully decorated with an emphasis on comfort to have a pleasant stay. The resort provides you with an exciting and exotic space through its decor.
Punta Cana's ecological environment encourages tourists to embrace sustainability and ecotourism. You can enjoy the open air and see tropical birds darting around as you arrive at the airport.

After spending five nights at the resort, it was nice to save a bit of money. You get free airport transportation when you book four nights or more from the website.
Local Language and Culture
Spanish became the local language of Punta Cana from the arrival of the Spanish conquistadors in 1492. However, many Dominicans also speak English because it is taught in private schools and is the second language of Punta Cana.
When in the tourist areas of Punta Cana, we found many of the locals being able to speak two or more languages. You may find someone who can speak Italian, French, and Russian. We also saw many of the restaurant's menus available in other languages besides Spanish and English.
A resort employee will speak to you in the language you prefer or find someone to assist you during your stay. Visitors worldwide are welcome at Punta Cana, where the staff welcomes them with open arms. So naturally, it was helpful when we had to ask questions when traveling to different places.
Is It Beneficial to Know a Little Dominican Spanish?
Although the locals have their unique twist, the Dominican Republic's official language is Spanish. We found many of the locals used their slang speaking Dominican Spanish.
Speaking and understanding Dominican Spanish has some benefits. First, when you become accustomed to a new dialect, you can learn its unique words and phrases.
Of course, this is helpful if you plan on staying in Punta Cana for some months. Also, if you are learning Latin American or Caribbean Spanish, this will help you with it.
The Atmosphere at the Live Aqua Beach Resort
From the road, Live Aqua looks like it dominated the scene about two decades ago with its angular shape filled with sharp lines and shiny windows. It honestly reminds me of the classic 1980s architecture.
You feel almost privileged to be at the hotel as if we're a part of the cool club, where contemporary art is dotted throughout the walls. The hotel has a club on the 5th floor that offers even more luxury to "members" and access to an exclusive lounge with key cards only. Inside the hotel, a chic and relaxed decor helps create an inviting atmosphere.
The outside of the hotel is fun and well landscaped, helping you enjoy the nightlife of Punta Cana. You'll find a friendly atmosphere at the pool, beach, and restaurants, particularly in the rowdier Pool Club area.

Spa
One other noteworthy feature of Live Aqua is the spa, which is just off the lobby. The resort offered early access to an indoor pool with various luxurious jets.
It was a relaxing spa visit, and we had a fantastic masseuse who was attentive to our every need. The cost of a 50-minute deep-tissue massage ranges from $150 to $200. All Zen spaces have relaxing waterfalls, hammocks, and unique architectural designs.

You can use the hotel's gym on-site to express your love of fitness and wellness. The gym was clean, with most of the equipment you would use in the gym. We were also provided with clean towels and water.

It's essential to be aware that petty theft occasionally occurs, so it's a good idea to carry less things or hide them on your person. However, we did not have this problem with others trying to take our stuff as we travel light and only bring what can stay in our pockets. It's always a good idea to inform the front desk if you're leaving the resort. Inform them of where you're going and when you intend to be back for safety.
