Punta Cana's ecological environment encourages tourists to embrace sustainability and ecotourism. You can enjoy the open air and see tropical birds darting around as you arrive at the airport.

Currently, 16 national parks exist in the country and 67 protected areas. Land of white sand beaches, dense forests, and towering mountains awaits you. Eco-minded visitors flock to it because of its diverse flora and fauna.

As soon as you arrive in Punta Cana, you're going to need a ride to get to Live Aqua Beach Resort. One way is to take a shared ride for $4 or book a private transfer for $12. Unfortunately, taxis are more expensive for short-distance hails, ranging from $30 to $50.

After staying at the Live Aqua Beach Resort at Punta Cana, you can get free transportations to the airport. 

After spending five nights at the resort, it was nice to save a bit of money. You get free airport transportation when you book four nights or more from the website.

Although the locals have their unique twist, the Dominican Republic's official language is Spanish. We found many of the locals used their slang speaking Dominican Spanish.

Speaking and understanding Dominican Spanish has some benefits. First, when you become accustomed to a new dialect, you can learn its unique words and phrases. 

Of course, this is helpful if you plan on staying in Punta Cana for some months. Also, if you are learning Latin American or Caribbean Spanish, this will help you with it.

People also enjoy speaking to the local owners of the shops outside of the Live Aqua Beach Resort. There are also H&M and Zara stores that offer clothes embracing the culture of the Dominican Republic, which we enjoyed visiting.

Live Aqua Beach Resort Punta Cana has ten restaurants that offer local and international cuisine. Chez Rose, for example, provides a taste of French cuisine, while Miraflores offers you an authentic taste of Peruvian food.

The Huzur serves Mediterranean cuisine in an open-air setting overlooking the hotel's main pool on a terrace. We would have lunch there every day during our stay, trying a new dish each time. 

We recommend that you try the paella and roasted chicken, salade Nicoise, and some of the different kinds of burgers they offer. You may also want to try the Dominican dishes such as fried plantain or the chicken and pork dishes.

The Live Aqua Beach Resort Punta Cana offers its guest eight bars to attend. During the day, you can enjoy a nice cocktail under the sun at the poolside bar Wonderpool. While there, you can also enjoy lunch while eating burgers, burritos, and fries.

The Tapas Sports Bar allows you to be more intimate and stylish on Compton Street while sipping a glass of wine. If you enjoy the sports culture and want a taste of pizza, we suggest you visit the Tapas Sports Bar.

The Live Aqua Beach Resort Punta Cana is located on a private beach with five pools in the hotel's surrounding area. As a result of COVID-19, the swim-up bar is roped off and closed, but the upstairs bar is open at night.

As the hotel is exclusively for adults, there are no kids' pools. However, in many pools, there are also hot tubs that allow adults to relax in warm, bubbling water when the sunsets.

The hotel offers two prestigious golf clubs to those who enjoy sports and recreation. The Punta Blanca Golf course and the country club allow golfers to cultivate the beauty of the natural land of the Dominican Republican.

Nick Price, a South African golf designer, designed the Punta Blanca Golf & Beach Club. There are 18 holes on this golf course, measuring 7,174 yards from the black tees. It has a rating of 74.1 and a slope of 123.

You must pay green fees when you stay at a Majestic property. Also, the number of rounds varies by package and resort.

The fee for the carts is $45 per person, and $25 for a rider/non-golfer is a bit steep. However, the experience of playing golf in the Dominican Republic was worth the cost.

One other noteworthy feature of Live Aqua is the spa, which is just off the lobby. The resort offered early access to an indoor pool with various luxurious jets. 

It was a relaxing spa visit, and we had a fantastic masseuse who was attentive to our every need. The cost of a 50-minute deep-tissue massage ranges from $150 to $200. All Zen spaces have relaxing waterfalls, hammocks, and unique architectural designs.

You can use the hotel's gym on-site to express your love of fitness and wellness. The gym was clean, with most of the equipment you would use in the gym. We were also provided with clean towels and water.

There's nothing better than starting your day with a morning yoga session on the balcony and ending your night dancing away on the dance floor at the hotel. If you enjoy Caribbean life while you are always on the go, you won't have any trouble finding time to exercise.

While staying at the Live Aqua Bech Resort Punta Cana, there are additional services you can enjoy. Some of the following services you can enjoy are:

The hotel also allows you to book your stay with a travel agency. With the help of a travel agency, you can experience the culture in full by participating in excursions, tours, and recreational activities.

The capital of Domino Replica is Santo Domingo and is about one hour and forty minutes away from the city of Punta Cana. For a bus ride of only $7, you can visit the island's oldest city and fully immerse yourself in its culture.

You can start a tour at one of the main tourist hotspots, the Columbus Park (Parque Colón) or the Plaza España. Along the streets of Parque Colon, you can enjoy the sounds of musicians and street performs. If you continue down the road, you can visit the first cathedral built in the Americas, Catedral Primada de América. 

With its stunning Caribbean coastline and world-famous golf courses, La Romana is one of the country's top destinations. The shoreline is lined with sugar cane fields. 

Freshwater springs and Taino rock art can be found in the cave-filled forest of Cotubanamá National Park. Saona, Catalina, and Catalinita lie offshore, surrounded by coral reefs and turtle nesting stretches. 

La Romana is an hour away from Punta Cana, allowing a quick day trip to the city. The trip to La Romana will be a memorable experience filled with ancient art, adventures in the sea, and strolls on idyllic beaches.

The Isla Catalina is just a short drive away from La Romana. Divers and snorkellers enjoy the water sports that Catalina has to offer. 

The beach is part of an excursion route for cruise ships, but the entire stretch is open to the public. If you enjoy wildlife, hiking, and camping, consider taking a day trip to the Isla Catalina.

Saona Island (Isla Saona) is the largest island along the coast of the Dominican Republic. The island measures 15 miles (25 kilometers) long and three miles (5 kilometers) wide. 

The trip includes a beach walk, a simple lunch buffet, and free drinks. There is also time for swimming, relaxing, and sunbathing.

Visit the Altos de Chavón to see a replica of a Mediterranean village from the 16th century perched above the River. While there, you can observe the fine detail of the village crafted by artisans from the Dominican Republic.

The living cultural centre Altos de Chavón hosts an on-site design school where the Dominican Republic and international artists study and teach.
