SSQ allows you to submit your claims and get reimbursed within 48 hours, estimate reimbursement amounts, and get statements for income tax purposes.

Through Your Medical Provider
For some places, you can use your SSQ Insurance Card and get the reimbursement right away. Before you choose your dentist or pharmacy, confirm whether they’re able to claim directly through your insurance card. You can use your SSQ Insurance Card at the dentist’s office or the pharmacy.
This makes your life easier as you will only pay the amount based on your coverage. For example, if you have a $500 dentist bill and 80% of it is covered. You will only pay $100 for your service. The dentist will contact your insurance provider directly and get the rest of the $400 from them.
You can also use your SSQ Insurance card at the pharmacy when you’re filling your prescription. If your contract allows it, your pharmacy can simply submit SSQ claims on your behalf. This means that you don’t need to submit the claims online.
You may have to pay a portion of the cost for the services, depending on your coverage. You will also have to pay any deductibles. Learn more about why insurance deductibles exist.
